OUR STORY

Bob's Basic Bees is a local family-run Bee Farm specializing in making beekeeping more accessible to the public. We strive to supply quality honeybees and related products to the public at large so that other families can fall in love with this hobby the same as we did.

Bob, head useless drone, got interested in honeybees sometime around 2013.  We had just moved for work and beekeeping wasn't something we were able to do from our temporary housing apartment.  Year after year, it always seemed like beekeeping was taking a back seat to some other task or emergency. 

In 2018 everything fell into place and our family officially became beekeepers!  The next year would be a whirlwind of personal discovery.  Tending bees is one of the most relaxing tasks we've ever performed and even just sitting and watching them come and go can be quite meditative.

Through our growth, we hope to break down barriers to allow other families to come together around this amazing insect the way our family has.  I hope you enjoy our website, please contact us with any questions.
